At 11:30am on Thursday 3rd March, we were called out to by our colleagues at Midshires Search & Rescue to provide water search assistance in Bedford.
We quickly mobilised to the RVP to assist the local Police, Fire, Ambulance and other local Search & Rescue teams in the search. Our Swiftwater Rescue Team deployed our sled to provide search capabilities from the water whilst other members were providing bank search coverage.
16 team members provided support in this search, dedicating over 52 person hours of their time before being stood down around 5:30 pm. Thank you to all that gave up their time to this call out.
