Late on Wednesday evening the team were placed on standby to support Northamptonshire police in a challenging search.
The callout went live early this morning and 8 members of NSAR attended a search in the east of the county to provide specialist support for a joint operation with Northamptonshire Police and Fire and Rescue services.
This multi service operation took most of the day and we were able to put into operation our highly trained Swiftwater Rescue and Bank Search teams.
Its not often that we get to utilise our full Swiftwater Rescue equipment so it was a good opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities on and beside the water to the emergency services.
The team were stood down late in the afternoon.
